So, How Much Does a Bounce House Rental Cost?

Here’s the quick version before we dig in:

• Standard and themed bounce houses: $199 to $299
• Bounce houses with slides: $255 to $299
• Water slides: $275 to $699, depending on height (15 ft to 24 ft tall)
• Obstacle courses: $255 to $699, depending on length (25 ft to 100 ft long)

Every one of those prices is the item price plus delivery and tax. We don’t hide anything in the fine print, and we don’t quote you one number and surprise you with another at checkout. Let me break each category down so you know what you’re actually paying for.

Bounce House Prices at Inflatables NC

Our lowest-priced option is a standard bounce house, starting at $199. When I say standard, I mean a 13×13 or 15×15 square unit with a generic theme or color scheme. It’s a great, clean, safe bounce house that’s perfect for a backyard birthday, and it comfortably fits about five to six kids at a time.

From there, the price climbs to $299 depending on three things: size, theming, and added features. A bigger unit that holds eight to ten kids costs more than a standard one. A heavily themed unit costs more than a generic one. And a bounce house with extra features built in, like a basketball goal, a bounce house twister, giant boxing, or gladiator jousting, costs more than a plain bouncer.

If you want a bounce house with a slide built in, those run from $255 to $299, and the best part is they can all be used wet or dry. So the same unit works for a summer water party in July and a dry birthday party in November.

Water Slide Prices

We have an awesome selection of water slides, and height is the biggest factor in price.

• Our 15-foot water slides start around $275.
• Our 19-foot slides run around $350.
• Our larger slides range from about $400 up to $699.

Our biggest one is the 24ft Tsunami Dual Lane Slide w/ 35ft Tropical Slip and Slide (wet only), and it’s a showstopper. Every slide is priced plus delivery and tax.

Obstacle Course Prices

Our obstacle courses run from $255 to $699, depending on length. We carry them in 25-foot, 30-foot, 40-foot, 60-foot, and 100-foot lengths, so we can scale from a backyard birthday all the way up to a school field day or big community event. A lot of them can be run wet or dry, and like everything else, they’re priced plus delivery and tax.

We Charge by the Event, Not by the Hour

This is one of the biggest differences between us and a lot of other companies, and it’s worth understanding before you compare quotes. We don’t charge by the hour. We charge by the event. If your event runs from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, that’s your event window, and the price is the price.

Here’s why that works in your favor. No matter how long your event lasts, our job is exactly the same. Delivery, setup, securing the unit, travel, and pickup take the same time and labor whether your event is one hour or eight hours. Our cost and time to complete the service don’t change, so your price doesn’t either. You’re not watching the clock or getting nickel-and-dimed for an extra hour.

And here’s a little secret: almost all of our customers end up enjoying their rental for longer than their contracted start and end time. You book the unit for your event, and it’s yours for the event.

Understanding the Delivery Fee

Every quote is the item price plus delivery and tax, so let me explain exactly how the delivery fee works, because most people don’t realize how much logistics go into it.

For every single rental, we actually make four trips:

1. We drive from our warehouse in Nashville, NC to your event location to set up.
2. We drive back to the warehouse.
3. When it’s time for pickup, we drive back out to your location.
4. We drive back to the warehouse again.

A lot of people don’t think about that round-trip-times-two reality, but it’s real time, fuel, and labor, and it’s why there’s a delivery fee. We service a wide area, including Nash, Wilson, Edgecombe, Halifax, Franklin, and Wake counties, along with cities like Rocky Mount and Wilson, so we built a delivery system that’s as fair as we could make it.

Add-Ons That Can Change Your Total

Once you’ve got your item price and your delivery fee, you’ve got a few optional ways to customize your rental:

• Keep It Overnight Add-On ($49): We usually do deliveries in the morning, and for an extra $49 you can keep the unit overnight while we pick it up the next morning.
• All Weekend Add-On ($99): This is the biggest value we offer. We deliver Friday evening and don’t pick up until Sunday afternoon, all for an additional $99.
• Worry-Free Protection: An optional add-on that protects you if something happens that’s outside your control. More on why I recommend it below.

All of these add-on prices are listed right on every rental page, so you can see exactly what they cost before you book. And to lock in your date, we don’t even require a deposit. Why the Cheapest Quote Can Cost You More

If you’re planning a school field day, a church event, or a community festival, here’s something that sets us apart. For large events, we offer onsite event planning. We’ll send one of our SIOTO™ Certified Professionals out to do a complete walkthrough with you ahead of time. We figure out where each inflatable is going, where the power is, whether we need generators, and where the water source is. That way, when our delivery crew shows up on event day, everything is already mapped out and the setup goes smoothly. (For a typical backyard birthday, you don’t need this, since the unit’s just going in the yard.)

One thing we do not do is bait-and-switch our pricing based on your event type. A $199 bounce house is $199 whether it’s for a birthday party, a church event, a school field day, or a corporate event. We don’t inflate the cost just because your event is bigger. The price is the set item price plus delivery and tax, every time. What we will do is work with any customer and any budget to create the best and safest experience we can.

Getting the Most Value for Your Money

After more than 2,000 events, here’s the honest advice I’d give a friend.

Book as early as you possibly can. Since we don’t require a deposit, there’s no reason to wait. You just review the quote, sign the contract to lock in your date, and you’re secured on our calendar. The longer you wait, the fewer options you’ll have, especially around holidays and during our peak summer season, when we’re often booking four to six weeks out.

I’ll give you a real example. A mom had been watching our website for a couple of weeks because her daughter is obsessed with mermaids, and she wanted our mermaid bounce house with dual slide for the birthday party. Instead of grabbing the quote and signing the contract while it was available, she waited and waited. By the time she reached out, someone else had already booked that exact unit, and she was asking if we had a waitlist. We do keep a waitlist, so we can call you if the unit you want frees up, but honestly, cancellations on our end are rare. The much better plan is to lock in your date early.

The add-ons are also where you can stretch your dollar. A lot of companies would charge you three times the price to keep a unit for three days. We don’t think that’s fair.
