Our Promise: If we're not fully set up and ready before your event start time, your rental is FREE — and you still get to enjoy the entire event. No questions asked.
All equipment must be fully set up, tested, and ready for use before your contracted event start time. If your event starts at 12:00 PM, we're fully set up and ready by 11:59 AM — no exceptions. Our drivers log completion times for every setup.
You receive a full refund of your entire order (excluding staffing costs for staffed events) — and you still get to use the equipment for your full event. We stay, you play, the day is on us.
If you rent 3 units and even 1 isn't ready on time, your entire order is free. We don't do partial refunds — we do it right, or we make it right.
The guarantee is based on the event start time on your signed contract. Need to change your event time? Just let us know at least 48 hours in advance. The change isn't official until you receive confirmation from our team — so if you don't hear back, please reach out!
Delivery windows are scheduled by Inflatables NC based on route logistics. The guarantee applies to your event start time, not the delivery window. We'll always arrive with enough time to get you set up before your event begins.
This guarantee doesn't apply to delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including:

Important: If an accident happens during your event, please let us know right away. Reporting damage immediately helps us get it fixed quickly and keeps your coverage valid.
✓ Accidental damage: Rips, tears, seam damage, entry/exit wear, netting tears, scuffs, scrapes
✓ Minor messes: Spills, stains, dirt, small amounts of ink, marker, or face paint
✓ Equipment issues: Zipper, velcro, or tie-down problems during normal use
✓ Weather damage: Storm damage — as long as you followed safety rules and turned off the unit

Your safety and our team's safety are our top priorities. We monitor the weather closely and will always communicate with you if conditions look unfavorable.
Conditions That Prevent Setup: Heavy rain, thunder and/or lightning, or winds exceeding 15 mph. If conditions are unsafe, we'll contact you as soon as possible to discuss options.
If unfavorable weather is in the forecast, we'll call to discuss conditions and decide together whether to proceed, reschedule, or cancel.
We cancel due to unsafe conditions: Full refund.
You cancel before we arrive: Full refund.
You cancel after we arrive: Travel and delivery portion is due (shown on your invoice).
After setup is complete: No refund available.
Our system sends automatic text alerts for severe weather and high winds during your event start and end times — a helpful heads-up! That said, weather can change quickly, so please keep an eye on conditions throughout your event.

Life happens — we get it. Plans change, and we're here to make adjustments as easy as possible. Since we don't require a deposit, there's no money tied up and no hassle.
Our Preference: Reschedule! Instead of canceling, consider moving your event to a new date. It's free, easy, and keeps your spot secured — just contact us and we'll take care of it.
No problem! Contact us to move your event to a new date — no fees, no hassle. We'll check availability and confirm your new date. You can reschedule as far in advance as you'd like.
We understand — just let us know at least 1-2 days in advance so we can adjust our schedule. If you've already paid, you'll receive a full refund. If you haven't paid yet, simply contact us and we'll cancel your reservation.
Weather-related cancellations have specific guidelines. Please see our Weather Policy for full details on refunds and rescheduling options.
Once equipment has been delivered and set up, no refunds or credits will be issued.
If you cancel when our team arrives for delivery, you are still responsible for the travel and delivery charge as stated on your invoice. Our team has already made the trip — please give us as much notice as possible if your plans change!
Need to change your event time, add items, or remove something? Just contact us! We'll do our best to accommodate your request. The earlier you let us know, the easier it is for us to adjust — ideally the morning of your event (before 7:00 AM) or earlier.
If our team arrives and no one is available, we'll wait up to 15 minutes while trying to reach you by phone, text, and email. If we can't make contact, the travel and delivery portion of your invoice is due. If you reach out after we've left and still need the equipment, we'll do our best to fit you back into the route — but your stop may be moved to the end of our current deliveries.
If something goes wrong with your rental, contact us immediately — we can't fix what we don't know about! We'll do everything in our power to resolve the issue, whether that's troubleshooting, rotating equipment, or sending a replacement. If we can't fix it, we'll work with you on a fair refund based on how much of your rental time was affected.
In the rare event that Inflatables NC has to cancel your reservation for any reason, you'll receive a full refund — no questions asked. We'll contact you as soon as possible to let you know and discuss options.
Important: All cancellations, reschedules, and changes require confirmation from our team. Please don't assume your request is complete until you hear back from us!

Safety is everyone's responsibility. These rules keep your guests safe and our equipment in great shape. We'll review everything with you during delivery, but here's what to know ahead of time.
Adult Supervision Required: A responsible adult (16 years or older, 18+ preferred) must supervise the equipment at all times while in use. No exceptions.
All participants must remove the following before entering any inflatable:
✗ Shoes, sandals, or any footwear (socks are fine)
✗ Glasses and sunglasses
✗ Jewelry (necklaces, earrings, rings, watches, etc.)
✗ Belts with buckles
✗ Sharp objects or anything in pockets
For safety reasons, the following individuals are not permitted in or on inflatables:
✗ Pregnant women
✗ Individuals with pre-existing injuries (back, neck, etc.)
✗ Anyone susceptible to injury from falls, bumps, or bouncing
✗ Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Each unit has specific capacity limits — we'll review yours during delivery. As a general guide:
Bounce Houses: 4-6 users at a time
Slides: 1 sliding down, 1 climbing the stairs
Obstacle Courses: 2 at a time
Warning: Exceeding capacity limits can cause damage to the unit and injury to users.
Keep smaller children separate from bigger kids and adults. The larger and older the users, the fewer should be inside at one time. This prevents collisions and injuries.
To prevent neck, back, and other serious injuries:
✓ Slides: Go down feet-first only — no head-first, no backward
✗ No flips or somersaults — ever
✗ No wrestling, roughhousing, or piling on each other
✗ No climbing, standing, or hanging on walls, sides, netting, or roof
Only people should be inside the unit — nothing else. This includes:
✗ Food and drinks
✗ Toys of any kind
✗ Silly string, gum, confetti, or glitter
✗ Animals or pets
✗ Dry inflatables: No water, hoses, or liquids of any kind
✗ Wet units: Water ONLY — no foam, dish soap, bubble bath, or any additives
âš Violation results in a $250 cleaning fee (see Damage & Liability)
Keep all participants away from:
✗ Blowers and motors — moving parts and hot surfaces
✗ Stakes and anchoring equipment — trip hazard
✗ Base of the inflatable — risk of tip-over injury
Each inflatable requires its own electrical outlet on a dedicated circuit/breaker. Most of our units draw about 13 amps out of a 15-amp circuit — if multiple items share the same breaker, it will trip.
✓ We provide up to 100 ft of extension cord per item
✓ Power must be within 100 ft of setup location
✗ We cannot exceed 100 ft — required by insurance
✗ If you need more distance, a generator is required
We can set up on most surfaces, but here's what works best:
✓ Best: Grass, concrete, asphalt
âš Not ideal: Gravel, dirt, or sandy conditions (additional fees may apply)
✓ Ground should be as flat as possible — minor slope is okay, major slope is not
✗ Must be at least 40 ft away from overhead power lines
If you have any underground utilities (water, gas, electric, septic, irrigation) in the setup area, please let us know when we arrive. We use stakes to anchor equipment in grass, and we need to avoid hitting anything underground.
Grass: We use stakes — the most secure anchoring method.
Hard surfaces: We use sandbags (additional fee may apply due to weight).
Once we set up your equipment, do not move it. Moving the unit removes the anchoring and creates a serious safety hazard. If you need the equipment repositioned, contact us.
If weather conditions become unsafe during your event, you must shut down the equipment immediately. See our Weather Policy for full details on what to do.

We're fully insured — and we want you protected too. Here's what you need to know about your responsibility while our equipment is at your event.
100% Fully Insured: Inflatables NC carries full commercial liability insurance for your peace of mind. Need a certificate of insurance for your venue or event? Just ask — we provide them at no charge.
While our equipment is at your event, you are responsible for following all safety rules, weather guidelines, and ensuring proper use of the equipment. You also assume responsibility for the safety of your guests during the event. If you'd prefer to leave supervision to us, ask about our staffed event options!
Your rental contract includes a liability waiver — this is standard for all equipment rentals and acknowledges your responsibility for guest safety and proper equipment use during your event.
The simple rule: If it happened from normal, rule-following use — it's wear and tear (no charge). If it happened from breaking rules or negligence — it's damage (you're responsible).
Normal wear & tear (no charge):
✓ Light scuff marks on vinyl
✓ Minor dirt from normal use
✓ Small grass stains
✓ Minor wear at entry/exit points
Excessive damage (customer responsible):
✗ Rips, tears, or punctures
✗ Stains from prohibited items (silly string, gum, paint, etc.)
✗ Burns from cigarettes, sparklers, or fireworks
✗ Torn netting from climbing or hanging
✗ Damage from moving equipment after setup
✗ Damage from exceeding capacity or pets/animals
✗ Missing or lost equipment/accessories
Certain messes require special cleaning and will result in additional charges:
⚠Silly String: $250 per inflatable — often causes permanent damage, which may result in replacement cost
⚠Water/Foam/Soap on Dry Inflatables: $250 — applies to non-water rentals only
⚠Additives on Wet Units: $250 — water only! No foam, dish soap, or other additives
âš Additional Cleaning Required: $100/hour
We take photos during all deliveries and pickups. Damage is typically identified at pickup. In some cases, we may discover damage during cleaning or inspection within 10 days of your event. If we find damage, we'll contact you by phone first to discuss. You will never be charged without communication from our team.
Damage charges are based on actual repair costs from a third-party repair company — we don't mark anything up. Repairs typically start around $500+, which is why we highly recommend Worry-Free Protection.
If equipment can't be repaired:
You're responsible for the full replacement cost at current manufacturer pricing, plus shipping. Inflatables can cost anywhere from $1,500 to $15,000+ depending on the unit.
Lost equipment (blowers, accessories, game pieces, etc.) will also be billed at replacement cost.
For overnight rentals, you're responsible for equipment security. Turn off and unplug the blower at the end of each day, and we recommend storing it inside or in a garage overnight to protect it from weather and theft.
